Sucker Punch struck us with quite the shock when it first unveiled Ghost of Tsushima out of the blue: a studio samurai-led tale of ancient Japan that gave you the series Infamous and Sly Cooper. You are playing a swordsman known as “The Ghost,” who is fighting for his life against the Mongol Empire’s invading armies. The unfolding story is based on real historical events that kicked off in 1274. The new trailer that debuted at the 2019 Game Awards not only gave us a release date, it also showed off some extremely slick action and a range of beautiful views in “Sucker Punch’s biggest game ever made by a broad margin.” Get ready for lots of intense melee combat in a massive, open-world feudal Japan takeover.

The next narrative adventure in Dontnod tells the story of Alyson and Tyler Ronan, reunited twins, who have a special bond. Described as an “intimate thriller,” the twins use their unique relationship to unravel the mystery of a troubled childhood-although caring. The game is set to explore the memory theory, and both twins are player protagonists, which sounds very interesting. As with past Dontnod games like Life is strange you can make choices that form the story of the twins. Interestingly, the plot will unfold over three chapters and will all be published in the summer, so you will be able to enjoy the journey of narration.

![Halo Infinite](https://www.gamesness.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Screenshot-9-320x240.png)
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, Xbox Project Scarlett
Release date: Holiday 2020
Make no mistake; the follow-up to 2015’s Halo 5 from 343 Industries is still a long way off, but it is happening. The first Halo Infinite trailer, carrying a strange new subheader and running on a brand new game engine known as Slipspace, almost seems to imply that the next adventure Master Chief’s characteristics should be MMO, or at least more open-ended and flavor-like sandbox. The immediately recognizable shot of his armor also teases a possible technical downgrade for the favorite Spartan of everyone, although plot specifics remain threadable for the time being. MMO or otherwise, Halo: Infinity could only be the Halo revival that we were all waiting for.
8. Upcoming Video Games Godfall
![Video Games Godfall](https://www.gamesness.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Screenshot-10.png)

Godfall is expected to land on the PS5 at the tail end of the year, as one of the first games to be announced for Sony’s next-gen console. It is described by Developer Counterplay Games as a loot-driven RPG action focusing on real-time melee combat. The latest IP is set in a world of fantasy, with “heroic knights, arcane sorcery, and prohibited realms.” The game can also be played in co-op or solo in its entirety if you so wish. We don’t know anything else about this looter-slasher yet, but certainly, the brilliant action-packed trailer and the high fantasy atmosphere of the game is enticing.

But, they are pushed back into cryostasis by an enormous storm called The Anomaly. And yet when they wake up they are both imbued with insane energies. It’s a mass phenomenon that reaches Disaster and that’s who we are.

![Disintegration](https://www.gamesness.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Screenshot-12.png)
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, PS4
Release date: TBC 2020
As an IP from the recent interactive studio V1, which was co-founded by former creative director Marcus Lehto of Bungie, Disintegration is expected to be a fascinating combination of FPS and RTS. You play as Romer Shoal, a Gravcycle pilot who controls a small resistance party-which is like a motorcycle that can fly over the battlefield. Set in the “Near Future of Earth,” where mankind is on the verge of extinction due to overpopulation, severe weather and food shortages, Romer’s crew is trying to “reboot” civilization. It’s shaping up to look and sound exciting indeed with the main campaign and the possibility of a major multiplayer element. Yeah, and the former co-creator of Halo’s is on board. Crazy stuff.
